“Isn’t any weight-bearing exercise good for the bones?” Yes and no. Even athletes have injuries, arthritis and osteoporosis. BFL allows you to learn movement that has integrity for your unique skeletal structure.
Develop your movement intelligence using Bones for Life®. Through the unique BFL exercises, your body trains itself for good alignment which in turn improves your posture and your vulnerable joints.
A total program for improved function and bone health should include development of dynamic alignment and rhythmic response to pressure through the entire self.
The gentle, weight-bearing movements challenge your bones to be strong and sturdy while improving overall balance and coordination. Simple tools facilitate the development of controlled resistance to pressure, like using a strip of cloth as a harness, pushing a wall, lifting weights, or learning safe ways to falling.
